Born in Leningrad in 1969. Graduated from the staging department (Sotnikov's class) of the St. Petersburg State Theatre Academy. Headed the artistic staging department of the Maly Drama Theatre from 1993 till 1997. Worked as a set designer from 1997 till 2001 at the St. Petersburg Young Viewers' Theatre named after Bryantsev. Since 2001 has worked as a set designer at St. Petersburg Comedians' Refuge Drama Theatre.
Has designed performances of The Mermaid, Tough Grass, The Little Humpbacked Horse (re-production), Dr. Doolittle and Barmaley, House of Broken Hearts, My Heart’s in the Highlands at St. Petersburg Young Viewers' Theatre; Tough Grass at Uppsala Theatre (Sweden); The Magic Corner at the Globus Youth Theatre (Novosibirsk); The Seagull at the Seine Hekidze Theatre (Tokyo, Japan); The Fairy's Wings, at the Souri Opera (Seoul, Korea); I Can't Hear What You're Saying, Dear, When the Water's Running in the Bath and Splashes of Champagne at the Comedians' Refuge Drama Theatre.
He has also designed sets for The Long Christmas Dinner at the Maly Drama Theatre.
