Born in Kerch (Ukraine) in 1967. Graduated from Samokish Arts School in Simferopol in 1988, then from Vera Mukhina St. Petersburg Academy of Art and Industry (graphic design department). Alexander immediately began working with the Maly Drama Theatre and now he designs all the theatre's advertising and literature. He has created posters and programs for the Theatre's performances A Play Without a Title, The Winter's Tale, Running Pilgrims, Chevengur, Molly Sweeney, posters for The House, Brothers and Sisters, Lord of the Flies and Gaudeamus. Alexander has designed the Web site for the Maly Drama Theatre. He worked closely with the British Council, and also works with the consulates general of Germany and Finland, the Netherlands Institute for Culture, the Early Music Festival and the Arts Square Festival. Alexander Andreychuk participated in international graphic arts exhibits such as the Golden Bee and the Znak logo exhibit (2000). One-man exhibition (2000). Alexander is a member of the St. Petersburg Designers' Union.
