Born in Leningrad. Tatyana`s career started at the theatre studio of the Leningrad State University where she studied at the department of philology. In 1957 she was accepted into the Company of the Music-Drama Theatre in Petrozavodsk, and in 1958 she started working at the Leningrad Drama and Comedy Theatre (presently the Theatre on Liteiny). She has played over 60 roles; the most famous are the following: Lubov in The Last, Frau Flamm in Rose Bernd (staged by L. Dodin), Prostakova in The Minor (staged by L. Dodin), Ulita in The Forest (The Russian State Prize 2000). The actress has worked with the Maly Drama Theatre since 2002 and in 2003 - accepted into the Company. People`s Artist of Russia. Winner of the State Russian Prize 2003 for the role of Lika in the performance of The Moscow Chorus; winner of the Golden Mask Award (2003) and the Golden Sofit Award (2002); winner of the Stanislavsky Award (2002). Now she plays Lika in The Moscow Chorus and Voinitskaya in Uncle Vanya.
